I know, I know, I've been absent. But I promise that I really have been busy. Things picked up at the salon, BIG TIME, and I had a little party that took quite a bit of planning.
You see, two of my favorite people in the whole world celebrated 50 years of marriage!! Of course they needed a party!! And of course being the eldest daughter (and a control freak) I jumped in with both feet!

My Wonderful Parents |
The actual anniversary date fell in December!! Bad timing folks, just sayin'. So we planned the party for January instead. That way my brother could be here on leave from the middle east and it wouldn't be competing with Christmas.

Mom is 3rd generation to be married for 50 years. |
We stayed with the Christmas theme, and bought most of the decorations on clearance..........cuz that's how we roll!
A wonderful neighbor offered to make the cake and I contacted the wonderful Bonnie at Photography by Bon to take all of the pictures!

V. J. got as close to their original cake as she could. | | |

My favorite pic! My brother and his wife! |
It was fun to have everyone together for this special event. And a big thanks to all who attended or helped. They enjoyed this more than the original reception.
There's no way I'm sharing all of the pictures! There are way too many. So enjoy these and I'll try to be better at keeping our adventures updated.
Party on Peeps!
